Kristoph DiMaria, or Rags (Ragliacci for short), is a parent, partner, musician, clown,
playwright, activist, and educator. They cofounded the SJAC in December 2021. They have
worked with Creative Action Unlimited as a deviser/actor in POV: Escape Poverty (2024), The
Climb (2021) and The Knot (2017). They are a Cofounder, Musical Director and the Director of
Development for Troy-based Shakespeare company Will Kempe’s Players Cooperative. They
facilitate relationships with venues and producers. They also manage transportation through the
renovation and operation of a full-size school bus. They have lived and worked in the Capital
Region for most of their life and currently reside in Troy, N.Y. They have been theatre making
for more than a decade. They have performed, directed, written, composed and taught. They
hold a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and Music from SUNY Albany and attended
Skidmore College and Schenectady County Community College. They are an Associate Artist
with Troy Foundry Theatre. They have trained in Pochinko Clowning and Original Practices
Shakespeare. They educate students and caseworkers in institutional settings, and they are
active in community social justice efforts.
