Linda has a Bachelor of Science Degree from State University of New York Empire State College in Theater and Drama Therapy. Her theater experience includes performances with: Hilltown Players, Impact Actors, Creative Action Unlimited and Albany Civic Theater. She interned at New York State Theater Institute and subsequently worked in their summer arts program as an adjunct theater arts teacher. Linda currently has two one-woman shows – Susan B. Anthony and Carrie Chapman Catt. She’s brought these women to life in schools, for the United States Army and various community organizations. She’s a member of Story Circle of the Capital District and has been the featured story teller at Café Lena. She’s also won numerous Toastmaster Awards for her humorous stories. Linda writes creative non-fiction and incognito for various blogs. Her essays are published in The Apple Tree, Helen: A Literary Magazine, Silver Birch Press, 101 Word Short Stories, Five Minutes and The Survivor’s Review. She’s lived in the Capital Region most of her life, volunteering in many organizations such as Mental Health Players, Hospice, Mediation Matters and Cornell Cooperative Extension.
